Because the Winterm 9650XE is built on Windows XP Embedded, it supports local applications, enhanced support for wireless networking, greater security, and better manageability. The Winterm 9650XE offers a rich built-in Internet browser, multimedia, and access to over 9000 peripherals. The expandable chassis has serial, parallel, and two USB ports; a PCI slot; internal IDE CD-ROM or DVD options; and an internal Wi-Fi® 802.11b option.
